The Restaurant Supervisor supports and covers for all these roles and more to keep Gold Bison Grill smoothly operating whether we have one guest or one-hundred!

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet all guests in a warm and professional manner upon their arrival to the restaurant

Extend a feeling of welcome and anticipate guest needs
-
Respond to all guest concerns and inquiries promptly, ensuring resolution to guest satisfaction

Problem solve and accommodate guest requests in a fast-paced environment
-
Maintain an thorough knowledge of the menu and special promotions, possessing the ability to respond to questions about restaurant services
-
Process orders and payments through point-of-sale software
-
Serve as a subject-matter expert on point-of-sale software, answering questions and providing guidance
-
Be ready and willing to bus, clear, and reset tables when necessary to assist
-
Maintain awareness of daily hotel activities
-
Communicate special guest requests and complaints to Managers
-
Ensure the host stand and restaurant are clean and presentable at all times
-
Offer assistance to all guests and provide them with information/directions requested, escorting the guest whenever possible
-
Serve as a source of detailed knowledge relating to hotel products, events, and promotions.

Thank guests for their visit and welcome them to return to the hotel

Provide new and ongoing training to restaurant colleagues
-
Monitor restaurant productivity and provide training and/or ideas to improve processes

Check for completion of shift work and opening/closing checklists

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Previous restaurant and/or hospitality experience is ideal. However, thorough training may be provided for outstanding candidates who lack previous professional experience.
