Brakes & Briskets is looking for a Food Runner to join our team in White House Station, NJ.
Part-time, and full time hours .
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supporting kitchen staff, serving, and preparing orders for catering pick up
- Running food orders, clearing tables, wrapping/bagging food items
- Organizing and storing dish loads and assisting with kitchen tasks, including food prep work
- Aid in receiving products, rotating stock, and maintaining kitchen organization and cleanliness
- Ensure the kitchen and dishwashing area are clean and presentable to facilitate effective and safe work environments
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced staff members.
- Location Whitehouse Station
