Job Summary
GraceBridge Home Care is seeking compassionate and reliable Home Health Aides/Caregivers to provide non-medical assistance to seniors in their homes. This position focuses on companionship, safety, and helping clients maintain their independence while delivering care with dignity and respect.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Assist with toileting and incontinence care
- Meal planning and meal preparation
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Medication reminders (no medication administration)
- Transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities
- Assist with walking, transfers, and mobility
- Observe and report changes in client condition
- Document care provided after each visit
- Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving, HHA, CNA, or home care experience preferred (training may be available for the right candidate)
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
