Transitions Float RVA is a Float & Wellness Center with a large, loyal client base of individuals committed to their health and wellness.
We're looking for a passionate, client-centered massage therapist who enjoys being part of a collaborative wellness team and has an entrepreneurial mindset to help us continue building a thriving massage practice. We are currently seeking therapists with weekday & weekend availability.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Accredited Massage Therapy Certification: Must hold a valid Certified Massage Therapist license.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Effective communication with clients and collaborative interaction with Transitions staff.
- Professionalism and Empathy: Cultivate strong client relationships by demonstrating a compassionate and professional demeanor, providing top-notch care.
- New practitioners are encouraged to apply!
Pay & Growth:
- Starting pay: $45 for basic 60-minute massages
- Starting pay: $60 for basic 90-minute massages
- 50% commission on upgraded massage services (Hot Stone & Cupping)
- 100% of tips go directly to the therapist
- Performance-based raises available after 3–6 months
- Opportunities to increase earnings through repeat clientele and additional service upgrades
- Access to all of our wellness services for Free! Staff are encouraged to utilize any of our wellness services at any of our locations.
What You'll Do
At Transitions, we believe massage therapists should be able to focus on their clients—not administrative tasks. Our front desk team handles appointment scheduling, client check-in and payments, and all laundry, so you can concentrate on delivering an exceptional massage experience.
As a massage therapist, your responsibilities include:
- Providing personalized, client-centered massage sessions tailored to each individual's needs and wellness goals.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional treatment room.
- Arriving on time and prepared for each scheduled appointment.
