Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient education, preventative care, and helping patients maintain excellent oral health.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing
- Conduct periodontal assessments and charting
- Take and review dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care
- Assist in developing treatment plans with the dentist
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow infection control and sterilization protocols
- Ensure a comfortable and positive patient experience
- Goal oriented
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of New Jersey
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient care
- Experience with Dentrix software preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
