Duties
- Oversee front desk operations, including check-in/check-out processes, guest inquiries, and reservation management using property management systems such as OPERA and other hotel PMS platforms
- Supervise and support front desk staff to deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring adherence to phone etiquette and multi-line phone system protocols
- Assist with guest relations by resolving issues promptly through customer service problem-solving techniques and maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and uphold hotel standards
- Implement hotel emergency procedures efficiently during incidents or safety concerns, ensuring guest safety at all times
- Manage night audit activities, including reconciling accounts and preparing daily financial reports
- Communicate effectively with clients via phone or in person, providing detailed information about hotel services and amenities
Experience
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel environment
- Familiarity with hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or similar property management software
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly preferred to serve diverse clientele effectively
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, night audit processes, and guest relations best practices
- Experience working with multi-line phone systems and property management systems (PMS) is essential
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve customer issues quickly while maintaining positive client communication
