O.P. Beauty Lab we pride ourselves on offering the highest standards when it comes to nails brows and lashes. We are looking to build an elite team to join our amazing team of professionals in our new luxury Euro-style salon located across from the Galleria mall.
At O.P. Beauty Lab, we specialize in advanced, high-end beauty services including builder and hard gel manicures, dry pedicures, brows, and lashes - all delivered in a relaxing, elevated environment using premium, non toxic and no-fume products.
This is more than a job - it's an opportunity to grow within your profession as we will be providing FREE training on these specialized techniques. We are looking for highly motivated and friendly nail technicians to join our team. We offer training, however, technicians with at least 1 year of nail experience are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Builder/Hard gel application to fingernails and toenails
- Apply gel/polish to fingernails and toenails
- Clean, cut and shape nails
- E-File Manicures/Pedicures
- Recommend colors, rhinestones and designs based on each customer’s style
- Remove previously applied polish
- Prepare and clean beauty station in-between appointments
- Sterilize equipment before use
- Inform clients about additional services and offers
- Give hand and foot massages
- Offer nail care treatment tips (e.g. how to strengthen nails and how to make manicures last longer)
- Take an interest in customers (e.g. chatting with them during appointments and remembering their preferences)
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Nail Technician, Manicurist or similar role
- Expertise in basic and advanced nail techniques, including builder/hard gel manicures, dry pedicures, French manicures, etc.
- Knowledge of latest nail trends/European style techniques (bio/poly gel , etc.)
- Understanding of sanitation and sterilization standards
- Experience in customer service
- Certification in Cosmetology or Manicurist license
Requirements
- Active Cosmetology/Manicurist License or actively obtaining one of the two
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Minimum of 6 months experience as a nail technician
Availability on weekends
Job Types: Temporary, Contract, Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $4,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month
