Shifts: Friday's 10pm-2:30am, Saturday's 10pm-2:30am, Sunday's 10pm-2:30am
Join our dynamic security team as a Bouncer/Doorman, where your role is vital in creating a safe, welcoming environment for all patrons and staff. You will be the first line of defense, responsible for maintaining order, enforcing entry policies, and ensuring the safety of everyone within the venue. Your energetic presence and keen observation skills will help foster a positive atmosphere while upholding security protocols. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your conflict management expertise and security knowledge in a lively setting.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and verify their identification to ensure compliance with venue policies
- Monitor entry points to prevent unauthorized access
- Manage crowd flow, control access during peak times, and handle disputes or disturbances with professionalism and confidence
- Enforce venue rules and regulations, including age restrictions and bag check to promote a safe environment
- Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed
- Conduct patrol of the premises to identify potential security risks or safety hazards
- Maintain detailed incident reports and logs of all security-related activities during your shift
Experience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly preferred
- Active DCJS Guard Card
- Familiarity with surveillance systems such as CCTV and loss prevention techniques is beneficial
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations calmly and effectively
- Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures is essential
- Ability to remain alert for extended periods while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Experience working in fast-paced environments where quick decision-making is critical
