We are seeking a caring, dependable, and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team in the Decatur area.This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who values meaningful patient relationships, autonomy, and the ability to make a direct impact in the home healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct nursing assessments and ongoing client reassessments
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized service plans
- Provide skilled nursing care in client homes
- Perform wound care, catheter care, tracheostomy care, ventilator care, and colostomy care
- Administer medications and monitor medication effectiveness
- Provide diabetic care and education
- Assist with enteral/parenteral feedings and IV therapy
- Perform lab blood draws and injections
- Support post-operative/recovery care
- Observe, document, and communicate changes in client condition
- Conduct supervisory visits every 62 days in accordance with Georgia regulations
- Educate families and caregivers regarding client care needs
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred
- Home healthcare or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
