Position Summary
We are seeking experienced and dependable Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure efficient operations and minimize downtime. Candidates should have strong mechanical aptitude, basic electrical troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to workplace safety.
Shifts Available:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production machinery and equipment.
- Perform preventive and routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and complete repairs in a timely manner.
- Inspect machinery for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
- Replace and repair components such as motors, bearings, belts, chains, sensors, and gearboxes.
- Assist with machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers.
- Troubleshoot basic electrical systems including motors, sensors, switches, relays, and control circuits.
- Read and interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and technical documents.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
- Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout requirements.
- Assist with facility maintenance and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting experience required.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial machinery preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Technical training, maintenance certifications, or related education are a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb throughout a 12-hour shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
Compensation & Benefits
- $20.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience
