Key Responsibilities:

Job sites include commercial construction projects of various sizes
-
Under the general supervision of a designated supervisor, install, maintain, and repair heating, plumbing and gas piping systems.

Repair, install, and maintain plumbing, hydronic piping, and gas piping
-
Assemble and install piping, valves, and fitting.
Minimum Skills/Requirements:
-
Holds an active Journeyman's License in the state of Maryland or DC
-
5-10 years of experience with commercial mechanical projects

Strong communication skills

Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems
- Ability to read, understand and work from drawings, specifications and schematics

Understands written and verbal instructions

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Attendance, reliability, dependability and flexibility

Ability to interact with multiple personality types while ensuring a positive outcome

Knowledge of appropriate tools and equipment to install piping and plumbing systems.

Knowledge of welding, brazing, threading and other plumbing and piping techniques.

Maintain and service the tools and equipment necessary to install plumbing and piping systems.

Sufficient knowledge of pipe hanging and support installations.

Have sufficient knowledge of safe working practices and maintain and support company safety programs and attend company safety training.
