Duties
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for pediatric and adult patients, including early intervention assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques to improve speech clarity, language comprehension, voice quality, and swallowing function.
- Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, teachers, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care and support ongoing progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, session notes, and treatment plans within electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
- Educate patients and families about speech-language disorders, therapy strategies, and home practice activities to reinforce progress outside sessions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care for individuals with complex disabilities or medical conditions.
- Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to provide remote therapy services while ensuring patient engagement and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program; licensure or certification as required by state or country regulations.
- Proven experience working with children in pediatrics or early intervention settings is highly preferred; experience with geriatric populations is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology techniques, anatomy, physiology of speech mechanisms, and medical terminology relevant to patient care.
- Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop effective therapy plans.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation; telehealth experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team in diverse clinical environments including schools or clinics.
- Knowledge of working with individuals with disabilities or speech impairments across various settings is advantageous.

Pay: $36.00 - $45.00 per hour
