Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Power Platform/VBA Engineer to drive the development and implementation of enterprise solutions leveraging Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents. You will also require to maintain and create VBA apps on Microsoft Excel. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize scalable business applications and automation workflows that enhance operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making. Your expertise will enable seamless integration with existing IT infrastructure, cloud services, and third-party systems, ensuring robust and secure solutions aligned with organizational goals. Duties
- Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using Power Platform components and VBA on the existing Excel spreadsheets to meet diverse business needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable system architectures and workflows.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with existing enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Pegasystems, SQL databases, and cloud services like AWS and Azure.
- Develop automated processes utilizing Power Automate to streamline operations across departments.
- Implement solution architecture best practices including service-oriented architecture (SOA), system design, configuration management, version control, and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Perform system testing, debugging, and optimization to ensure high performance, load balancing, and system reliability.
- Maintain documentation for application configurations, API integrations (RESTful APIs), system architecture diagrams, and security protocols.
- Stay current with emerging technologies such as microservices architecture, Kubernetes orchestration, DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
Skills
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Virtual Agents.
- Work experience with VBA over Microsoft Excel for automation and summary creation.
- Knowledge of Open AI's Agent Builder
- Strong understanding of solution architecture principles within enterprise environments.
- Proficiency in integrating diverse systems using APIs (RESTful API), web services (SOAP), and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of database management systems (SQL Server or Oracle)
- Familiarity with programming languages including VBA, Python, C#, etc.
- Experience with DevOps tools including Git for version control; Jenkins for automation; CI/CD pipelines; system hardening; vulnerability assessment; threat intelligence; information security best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues related to computer networking, cloud security measures, application debugging using Visual Studio or similar IDEs.
