Overview:
This is a seasonal position lasting for the 2026 operating season only. Seasonal associates are let go for a period of no less than 13 weeks at the end of the 2026 operating season.
Responsibilities:

Perform in live animal shows as an MC or character

Follow daily schedule for presentations as directed by the Entertainment Senior Supervisor

Communicate and follow instructions from Animal Care Specialists as situations change

Meet performance measurements and quality standards from the Entertainment Senior Supervisor

Occasionally participate in creative production work
-
Maintain cleanliness and maintenance standards through all assigned tasks
-
Maintain departmental and area safety policies and procedures
-
Must work well with others and be able to work in crowds, heat and cold for two (2) - Four (4) hour intervals during rehearsals and for 15-minute performances up to four (4) times a day.

Must also have high energy, enthusiasm and be able to interact with guests, maintain clean dressing rooms, and transport costumes to/from the performance location and wardrobe

Must be able to complete own stage makeup in conjunction with show guidelines
Qualifications:
-
The ability to confidently perform in front of a live audience.

The skills to improvise interactions with guests and other characters preferred.

The ability to demonstrate strong acting technique

A background or degree in Theatre
-
Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age

Physical Requirements:
-
Constantly standing, talking, climbing walking, reaching, using finger movement, grasping, feeling, speaking
clearly, hearing conversation, using hearing acuity, seeing near far, stooping, bending, kneeling. -
Working in extreme heat, sun, cold, wetness, humidity and temperature change.

Must be able to carry and wear 5 to 10 pounds of costume weight

All lifts over 51 lbs. require help from a coworker or mechanical device.

Overtime of adults may be required from time to time to accommodate the business need.
