Duties
- Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all items are fresh, appealing, and properly displayed
- Maintain food safety standards by following sanitizing procedures and proper food handling techniques
- Assist guests with food selections, answer questions about menu items, and provide friendly service to enhance their experience
- Restock supplies, replenish food items, and ensure the breakfast area remains clean and organized throughout service
- Handle manual tasks such as lifting supplies, setting tables, and managing weight handling in the workplace safely
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for any paid breakfast options or special orders efficiently and accurately
- Follow all food safety management protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in fine dining, food service, or hospitality environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling practices
- Experience with wine knowledge or barista skills is a plus but not required
- Strong customer service skills with an energetic and positive attitude
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and effectively in a busy setting
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and payment transactions
- Previous banquet or catering experience is advantageous but not essential
- A background in culinary arts or dietary aide experience can be beneficial for understanding food preparation standards
