We are looking for Registered Nurses of all diciplines, LTC, MS, ER, ACU.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions through detailed physical examinations, vital signs, and health history reviews to develop personalized care plans.
- Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and perform suturing and catheterization procedures following aseptic techniques and medical protocols.
- Manage acute pain and provide specialized care in emergency situations, including trauma medicine and critical care interventions.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation and patient data management.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate discharge planning, case management, and long-term care strategies tailored to individual needs.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations, specimen collection/processing, and laboratory testing to support clinical decision-making.
- Educate patients and families on health coaching, medication administration, wound care (including ostomy), and chronic disease management such as geriatrics or developmental disabilities.
Qualifications
- Valid RN license with current registration to practice in the state of Kansas or relevant jurisdiction.
- Demonstrated experience working with diverse patient populations across settings such as hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care environments.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner; familiarity with ICD-10/ICD-9 coding is preferred.
- Critical care experience including ICU or Level I/II trauma center exposure is highly desirable.
- Skills in IV insertion, venipuncture, sterile processing, tube feeding, ventilator management, and airway management are essential.
- Knowledge of infectious disease control practices and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and safety.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges is a plus; certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to perform physical assessments and interpret physiological data accurately.

Pay: $50.08 - $61.00 per hour
