Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to help them find products suited to their needs.
- Educate customers on product features, effects, dosages, and consumption methods through engaging product demos.
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately and swiftly.
- Manage cash register operations, including cash handling, balancing drawers, and completing retail math calculations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of store inventory, stock levels, and merchandising standards to ensure optimal product presentation.
- Assist with stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store remains clean, organized, and inviting.
- Promote upselling opportunities by recommending complementary products and educating customers on new or featured items.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone with professionalism using excellent phone etiquette while providing accurate information or directing calls appropriately.
- Conduct product demos to showcase new items or educate customers about product benefits and usage tips.
- Support supervisory staff in daily store operations and contribute to a positive team environment.
Requirements
- Prior retail sales experience with a focus on customer service; supervisory experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail transactions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain product details clearly and confidently.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and inventory management.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and balancing cash drawers accurately.
- Experience in upselling techniques to enhance sales performance while maintaining ethical standards.
- Excellent phone etiquette for engaging with customers over the phone professionally.
- Ability to perform stocking duties efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
