What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess each child's physical abilities and needs
- Design individualized treatment plans targeting specific rehabilitation and developmental goals
- Deliver engaging, play-based therapeutic exercises to build strength, mobility, and coordination
- Educate and empower families with practical home strategies and tools
- Collaborate with OTs, SLPs, and the broader care team for coordinated, whole-child care
- Track progress and adjust plans to keep outcomes moving forward
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of evaluations and treatment notes
What You Bring
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Valid state PT licensure (or eligibility)
- Pediatric experience preferred; orthopedic background a plus
- Strong grounding in physiology and rehabilitation principles
- Excellent communication skills and a warm, patient-first approach
- Confidence building and adjusting care plans based on real-time patient needs
