In this vital role, you will assist with patient examinations, prepare patients for their eye exams, and provide personalized optical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for eye examinations by performing preliminary tests such as measuring vital signs and collecting medical history.
- Assist optometrists during eye exams by managing equipment and documenting findings accurately within electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Conduct Optical tasks including lens measurements, frame adjustments, and verifying optical prescriptions using laboratory experience and anatomy knowledge.
- Educate patients on eyewear options, including frames, lenses, and contact lenses.
Experience
- Prior experience is highly preferred., however we are willing and able to train the right candidate.
Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour
