Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and deliver prompt, friendly service
- Engage with guests to provide personalized recommendations, upsell menu items, and enhance their overall experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems, manage cash handling procedures, and balance registers at shift end
- Assist with food service during busy periods or special events like banquets or catering functions
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure safety and adherence to alcohol service regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, preferably with fine dining or nightclub environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; retail math skills are a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and orders efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food handling, food safety protocols, and responsible alcohol service regulations
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and sales transactions
- Previous banquet experience or catering background is advantageous but not required
- Must be 18 years or older with reliable transportation to shifts that may include nights, weekends, and holidays
