Account Executive position for News/Talk/Sports radio station WSJS and for 5 other faith based stations in the cluster. Duties and obligations will include the following activities: sales development, personal sales training, account acquisition and maintenance, development of marketing materials, solicitation of trade agreements with appropriate businesses, execution of marketing plans to the general business public, development and execution of events, and other assignments as required from time to time by Truth Network. Truth Network operates 24 radio stations in 11 markets. This is advertising sales for a 6 station group, but your lead station would be WSJS. Ideal candidates for faith based stations would include an active evangelical Christian worldview. Pay is both salary and commission, with a break in period with higher base after which commission should be the larger part of total compensation.
Note: This position is with an evangelical Christian company whose main line of business is overtly Christian. The office environment is faith based and the halls are marked with Bible verses, as most radio station in the group are strictly evangelical Christian content. You must be comfortable and accustomed to Christian language, ethics, behavior and lifestyle.
