Agrecolor is a 60 year old printing company based on Long Island.Agrecolor Printing staff are experienced individuals within the printing industry that are dedicated to helping and maintaining a high standard of quality printing.
We are looking for a person with experience in graphic design/preflighting jobs/prepress/and digtal press operation on are xeroxes
Experience in graphic design a plus, and print preflight and production a plus
Assist with layout design and typography for print
Troubleshoot and resolve, print issues as they arise
Output plates, from imposition software
Familiar with Adobe creative suite /in design Photoshop /illustrator /acrobat a must
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Familiar with book, production and prepress
Perform basic functions on copy machines
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute design concepts for various projects
- Create visually appealing graphics and layouts for print and digital media
- Design marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, banners, and social media graphics
- Develop and maintain brand identity guidelines
- Ensure all designs are consistent with the company's brand image and messaging
- Use industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite to create and edit designs
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine designs and meet project requirements
- Stay up-to-date with design trends and best practices in graphic design
```Qualifications```
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer 5 years of proven experience as a graphic designer/digtal press and prepress or similar roll
- Proficient in using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects
- Knowledge of layout design principles for both print and digital media
- Familiarity with typesetting and typography principles
- Understanding of color theory and composition techniques
- Experience with digital design tools such as InVision and Adobe After Effects is a plus
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
