Position Overview:
We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join our weekend team. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC mills and/or lathes to produce precision parts that meet customer specifications. This role is critical to maintaining our reputation for quality and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multi-axis equipment).
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T.
- Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and workholding methods.
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
- Adjust machine settings and offsets to maintain part quality and tolerances.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with programmers and quality staff as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a CNC Machinist in a precision machine shop.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and materials.
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools and inspection techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Experience setting up and operating CNC equipment (mills and/or lathes).
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment.

Schedule:
- Full-time, Friday-Sunday, 6:00am - 6:00pm (30min paid lunch). 3x12hr shift, paid for 40hrs. Note: This is a new shift we are starting, and we can be flexible. Official hours will be decided by the first hire.
