ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Laundry Operations: Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, and other textiles according to established standards and procedures.
Inspect items for stains, damages, or wear and tear, and report any issues to the supervisor.
Operate and maintain laundry equipment, such as washing machines, dryers, and ironing machines.
Handle and store chemicals and cleaning agents following safety guidelines.
Inventory Management: Monitor linen and towel inventory levels and inform management when reordering is necessary.
Keep records of linen usage, cleaning processes, and inventory levels.
Assist in receiving and stocking new supplies as they arrive.
Quality Control: Ensure all linens and textiles meet the hotel's quality standards.
Report any damaged or stained items that cannot be restored to the supervisor.
Pay attention to detail to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of linens.
Guest Service: Respond to guest requests for additional linens, towels, or other laundry-related needs promptly and courteously.
Assist in delivering fresh linens to guest rooms as requested.
