Good Shepherd Catholic School is seeking caring, dependable, and flexible On-Call Substitute Teachers to serve students in Preschool through 6th grade. Substitute teachers play an important role in supporting our school community by providing a safe, engaging, and faith-filled learning environment when regular classroom teachers are absent.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with children of all ages, is adaptable, and is committed to maintaining a positive and productive classroom.
- Provide classroom instruction and supervision for students in Preschool through 6th grade as assigned.
- Follow lesson plans and classroom procedures provided by the classroom teacher.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and well-managed learning environment.
- Encourage student engagement while maintaining established classroom expectations.
- Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, recess, lunch, or other assigned duties as needed.
- Communicate with school staff regarding the day's activities and any important student information.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
