We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Animal Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a background in handling various breeds of dogs. This role involves ensuring the health and well-being of the animals in our care, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for dogs, including feeding, grooming, and exercise.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals.
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cat cages, play areas, and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Assist with basic dog training and socialization activities as needed.
- Handle animals safely and with care.
- Walk dogs and do enrichment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners, adopters, and visitors addressing their needs and concerns effectively.
- Previous experience in dog handling or kennel work is preferred.
