Six years of economic stability social services experience; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus three years of economic stability social services experience; OR
A bachelor's degree plus three years of economic stability social services experience; OR
An advanced degree in a social sciences field, business, public, or health administration plus two years of economic stability social services experience.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.
Job Duties:

The key duties and responsibilities of the position are being the subject matter expert for all policies and systems related to the Empower Louisiana Food Purchase Program.

Acts as lead designer for Empower. Will be the agency's point of contact to the selected vendor.

Increases techniques that increases collaboration, predictability, transparency, and to promote a culture of experimentation and innovation.

Reports risks and issues to leadership timely; completes daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports related to financial activities; submits reports to internal and external stakeholders; validates and submits data upon request.

Ensure that state and federal financial requirements are followed policies and systems.

Participates in the testing of new financial systems.

Participates in planning, developing, and leading appropriate staff training, workshops, and meetings for executives and high-level officials, staff members of other LDH divisions and external partners regarding Empower.
