Care Crew USA Driver (1099 Independent Contractor)Position Summary
Care Crew USA is seeking dependable, compassionate, and professional drivers to provide safe, reliable transportation for seniors, vulnerable adults, nonprofit participants, families, and other clients throughout Collin County. Drivers play an important role in helping clients maintain their independence by transporting them to medical appointments, work, school, shopping, community activities, and other scheduled destinations.
This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position. Drivers must be able to commit to a regular weekly schedule based on assigned client transportation needs.
Location Requirement: Applicants must currently reside in McKinney, Allen, Frisco, or Prosper, Texas. Only candidates living within these communities will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport clients to and from scheduled destinations.
- Arrive on time for all scheduled pickups and drop-offs.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service at all times.
- Assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle when appropriate.
- Assist with loading and unloading groceries, mobility aids, and other personal items when needed.
- Follow approved routes while maintaining communication with Care Crew USA dispatch.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of all clients.
- Keep accurate mileage, trip, and expense records as required.
- Maintain a clean, professional vehicle.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections before each shift.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Immediately report accidents, incidents, or client concerns.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 25 years of age.
- Excellent driving record.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional appearance.
- Comfortable working with seniors, vulnerable adults, families, and individuals with disabilities.
- Ability to safely assist passengers entering and exiting vehicles when necessary.
- Smartphone capable of running company communication and navigation applications.
- Able to commit to a regular weekly schedule based on assigned client transportation needs.
- Must currently reside in McKinney, Allen, Frisco, or Prosper, Texas.
Vehicle Requirements
- SUVs and passenger vans are preferred to better accommodate clients, families, wheelchairs, walkers, groceries, and group transportation needs.
- Four-door vehicle no more than 15 model years old (unless otherwise approved by Care Crew USA).
- Functioning air conditioning and heating.
- Working seat belts for all passengers.
- Clean interior and exterior with a professional appearance.
- Free from significant body damage.
- Safe tire tread and properly maintained brakes.
- Passes all required safety inspections.
- No salvage, rebuilt, or flood-title vehicles.
Insurance & Documentation
Applicants must provide:
- Current personal automobile insurance meeting or exceeding Texas minimum requirements.
- Valid Texas driver's license.
- Current vehicle registration.
- Authorization for a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review.
- Successful criminal background screening.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference may be given to applicants with experience in:
- Non-emergency medical transportation.
- Senior transportation.
- School transportation.
- Rideshare or chauffeur services.
- Customer service or hospitality.
- Working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
- Community or nonprofit transportation services.
Compensation
- Transportation Services: Starting at $20.00 per hour.
- Regular scheduled work based on assigned client transportation needs.
- Mileage and operating reimbursements may be provided in accordance with Care Crew USA policies.
