Position Overview
This opportunity is for an Independent Contractor Licensed Massage Therapist who is committed to continuous professional growth.
Initially, opportunities may include accepting new client bookings and covering available appointment times.
Independent contractors establish their own availability while partnering with Organic Massage to deliver an exceptional client experience.
As our practice evolves, contractors have opportunities to become familiar with Organic Massage service standards, systems, specialized wellness services, and the client experience that defines our brand.
Preferred Clinical Experience
Massage experience in one or more of the following:
- Therapeutic Swedish Massage
- Deep Tissue Massage
- Sports Massage
Additional experience welcomed:
- Manual Lymphatic Drainage
- Assisted Stretching
- Cupping
- Hot Stone Massage
- Prenatal Massage
- Other therapeutic modalities
A willingness to continue learning is valued as much as previous experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional massage therapy services tailored to each client's needs.
- Perform appropriate client assessments and provide individualized treatment recommendations.
- Support clients in understanding their individualized wellness plan and recommended follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate treatment documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized treatment room before and after each session.
- Supply your own linens, oils, lotions, and professional attire.
- Carry professional liability insurance.
- Maintain an active Florida Massage Therapy License.
- Communicate professionally regarding your availability and scheduled appointments.
- Deliver an exceptional client experience consistent with Organic Massage standards.
