Overview
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and creative Dance Teacher who loves working with kids and sharing the joy of dance and performance. In this role, you’ll lead fun and engaging dance classes for a variety of ages and skill levels, helping students build confidence, develop their technique, and express themselves creatively.

What You’ll Do
- Plan and teach engaging dance classes for different ages and skill levels, incorporating styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, or hip-hop.
- Help students develop dance technique, musicality, choreography, and performance skills.
- Create a welcoming, positive, and respectful environment where students feel comfortable learning and trying new things.
- Offer helpful feedback and encouragement to help students improve their skills and build confidence.
- Prepare students for performances, showcases, or other special events, including choreographing and rehearsing routines.
- Work with other arts educators when opportunities come up to connect dance with music, theater, visual arts, or other creative programs.
- Keep track of attendance and student progress and communicate with parents or guardians as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience teaching dance to children and youth in a school, studio, camp, or community setting.
- A strong background in dance instruction and choreography, ideally across multiple dance styles.
- The ability to manage a classroom while keeping classes positive, engaging, and fun.
- Experience working with children and an understanding of how to adapt instruction for different ages and abilities.
- Comfortable working with students from a variety of backgrounds and skill levels.
- Most importantly, a genuine love of dance, creativity, and helping students learn and grow.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
