Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Manage customer transactions accurately, including processing cash, credit card payments, and retail sales transactions.
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Prepare simple food items following food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and proper handling procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by regularly sanitizing counters, equipment, and dining areas.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation activities.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to customers while providing excellent service throughout their visit.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, along with cashiering skills.
- Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food safety management, and sanitation practices.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask during busy periods.
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions accurately.
- Experience working with kitchen equipment or in a café or grocery store setting is a plus.
- Food industry knowledge including food handling regulations and safety standards is desirable.
