Duties
- Prepare ingredients and components for menu items through precise food handling and cooking techniques
- Assist in menu planning by preparing your station and being ready to work
- Make sandwiches according to recipes, presentation standards, and quality expectations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure hygiene and prevent cross-contamination
- Support catering orders and special event meal preparations with efficiency and professionalism
- Serve food promptly and courteously to ensure a positive guest experience
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred
- Strong culinary background with knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and kitchen operations
- Demonstrated line cook experience and sandwich making and fryer experience
- Familiarity with food industry standards for safety, handling, and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. fast paced kitchen
- Knowledge of menu planning, food presentation, and catering operations is advantageous
