Job Description
- We are seeking a compassionate Child and Adolescence Mental Health Therapist to join our team of highly skilled Mental Health Care providers and clinicians.
- The ideal candidate has experience providing a range of psychological assessment, diagnostic, therapeutic, and case management services for individuals, couples, groups, and/or families.
- We are looking for candidates with training and experience for a wide range of patient populations with varied mental health illnesses.
- Our clinicians are responsible for evaluating and assessing patients, evaluating the patient’s history, and establishing a treatment plan that is clinically appropriate for each patient on a case-by-case basis.
Responsibilities:
- Build a positive, therapeutic, and trusting clinical relationship with patients.
- Evaluate the patient’s medical and clinical history, assess the condition, and treat mental health illnesses as clinically appropriate.
- Establish an individualized treatment plan, catered to the specific patient.
- Support patients on their journey towards goals indicated and set collectively in treatment planning.
- Provide ongoing engagement and treatment as outlined by the care plan and necessary to the patient for successful clinical outcomes.
- Guide patients toward facilitating improvement in mental health diagnoses.
- Assess the patient’s social situation and clinical history as appropriate for care.
- Provide case management and coordination of care services as necessary.
- Continue evaluating patients’ treatment progress and care plans.
- Consistent, thorough, and timely documentation for treatment plans and ongoing care
- Build an outcomes-focused, collaborative care environment for colleagues and patients.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and an appropriate clinical environment for the patient.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or similar field.
- Connecticut Licensure (Independent) - LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, Psy.D, etc.
- EMDR training or experience is preferred.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
