Job Summary
The Senior Project Manager serves as the primary coordinator and customer advocate for assigned aircraft maintenance projects, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with customer expectations and company standards. This role partners closely with Customers, Service Managers, Operations Managers, and cross-functional teams to oversee project execution from induction through aircraft delivery. The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating schedules, monitoring project progress, managing customer communications, supporting revenue and warranty administration, ensuring technical documentation and regulatory compliance, and driving exceptional customer satisfaction while achieving operational and financial objectives.
Essential Functions

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers throughout the maintenance event, building trusted relationships through proactive communication, timely updates, and effective issue resolution.

Develop, coordinate, and manage aircraft maintenance schedules in collaboration with Service Managers, Operations Managers, and production teams to maximize efficiency and support on-time aircraft delivery.

Oversee assigned maintenance projects from induction through delivery, monitoring scope, schedule, milestones, risks, and customer expectations while facilitating timely decision-making.

Partner with Service Managers, Directors, Operations Managers, and other functional leaders to prioritize work, resolve production issues, and maintain project momentum.

Monitor project financial performance, including estimates, change requests, labor, parts, invoicing, and revenue recognition, ensuring accuracy and alignment with approved customer authorizations.

Coordinate warranty administration activities, including claim documentation, manufacturer communications, and warranty recovery opportunities.

Work closely with the Chief Inspector to ensure maintenance records, technical documentation, regulatory paperwork, and aircraft delivery packages are complete, accurate, and compliant with FAA regulations and company procedures.

Maintain accurate project information within service management systems, ensuring timely updates to schedules, work orders, customer records, and project documentation.

Facilitate communication among Customers, Technicians, Inspectors, Parts, Finance, Engineering, and other departments to ensure efficient project execution and exceptional customer service.

Identify project risks, schedule impacts, and resource constraints, escalating issues and recommending solutions to minimize operational disruptions.

Analyze project performance and customer feedback to identify opportunities for process improvements, operational efficiencies, and enhanced customer satisfaction.

Support site leadership by providing project status reports, operational metrics, and recommendations to improve service delivery and business performance.
