We are seeking a Mental Health Professional II / Adult Clinic Supervisor who is motivated to help individuals and families navigate life's challenges and achieve long-term wellness. Under the limited supervision of the York Adult Clinic Director, the Mental Health Professional II / Adult Clinic Supervisor will provide therapeutic and emergency services to adult patients and their families. Will also ensure frequent interaction with other community agencies and maintain positive and professional relationships.
Responsibilities for the Mental Health Professional II / Adult Clinic Supervisor:

Provide advanced and complex medically necessary clinical services including but not limited to assessment, individual, family & group therapy & crisis intervention services to a targeted population of adult patients and their families. Services may be provided in the clinic, in the patient’s home, or other community setting as appropriate. Responsible for case management services for assigned caseload. These services include: referrals, advocacy, interagency staffings, and coordinating care between agencies / service providers as appropriate.

Provide leadership, & clinical & administrative Supervision for assigned staff ensuring that CCMHC Productivity, & same day documentation standards are met, as well as continuous medical record review to ensure that all services and documentation are provided in compliance with CARF, SCDBHDD, CCMHC, Quality Assurance, Compliance, HIPAA, & Transculural Standards, Policies and Procedures while adhering to all CMHC supervision policies and directives. Supervision also includes ensuring that EPMS plans and evaluations and position description reviews for all assigned staff are completed in an accurate, objective, and timely & constructive manner.

Formulate recovery based plans of care with person centered goals and objectives. Conduct timely reviews and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Attend and participate in Treatment Team meetings/staffings, including staffings with MD at CCMHC. Pursue continuing education and training. Maintain positive professional relationships with MHC staff, and community agencies, as well as, patients and their families. Work to overcome the stigma of mental illness and mental health services by providing education, training and support services to the community at large.
For MHP Student Loan Repayment:
This position MAY be eligible for SCOMH Student Loan Repayment to cover some of the cost of your outstanding loan(s) balance associated with the completion of a healthcare degree that is relevant to the appliable position.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
A master’s degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field and professional experience in a mental health, human service or social service program.
Three (3) years of experience in a clinical counseling program.

Must be licensed or be eligible for full licensure within 3 years of hire.

Be able to pass CPR and Managing Agitation in the Psychiatric Setting (MAPS) Certification.

Be able to operate a state vehicle.

Be able to work a flexible schedule and know this position is considered essential and may be called back during crises / disasters/ emergencies.
