About Our Founder
Guiding Hands Healthcare was founded by Kimberly Lou, an Integrative Life Mentor, Health Coach, LAADC, and Ph.D. student. She provides coaching and leadership development to professionals in a variety of industries.
Mental Health Group Facilitator
Position Summary
We are seeking motivated Therapists to facilitate group services for individuals receiving Mental Health and Substance Use treatment. This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy working in a collaborative environment and supporting client recovery through group-based interventions.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate engaging and clinically appropriate group sessions
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive therapeutic environment
- Attend group supervision sessions
- Participate in leadership coaching opportunities with the organization's CEO
Qualifications
- Active California registration or licensure (including AMFT, APCC, ACSW, LMFT, and above)
- Minimum of one year of experience working with individuals experiencing mental illness and/or substance use disorders
- Valid California driver's license and current automobile liability insurance
- Ability to successfully complete required background and medical screenings
Preferred Skills
- Cultural humility and experience working with diverse populations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable facilitating groups and presenting to participants
- Effective group engagement and facilitation skills
- Strong documentation skills and proficiency with technology
Schedule
- Part-time, approximately 6–15 hours per week
- Must be available to work at least two of the following days: Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Availability on Wednesday and/or Thursday is also welcome but is not required or preferred.

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
