Job Summary
Our architecture and design afterschool program is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support our teaching team for our elementary school students. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in architecture, arts, or design, and love working with kids. This role involves assisting lead teachers in managing classroom activities. The classes take place in the afternoons, between 3 pm and 5:30 pm.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all children.
Skills
- REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in architecture, design, or art.
- Strong knowledge of studio art or architecture practices.
- Experience working with children.
- The ability to work in a team environment, and be on time.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $65.00 per hour
