Job Summary - Nirvana Wellness and Spa
We are a launching med spa in downtown Saint Cloud with a team of six women and ready to add a massage therapist to our team! We hope to open our doors August 15th, 2026. We have a very vigorous marketing plan that will help bring in clients for our services and what better service to add than massages to a wellness and spa center? Our focus will be laser hair removal, luxury facials and massage therapy (with future training in lymphatic drainage massages). Room rental opportunity available as well instead of hiring if preferred.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Massage Therapist to join our wellness team, committed to enhancing clients’ health, relaxation, and overall well-being. In this role, you will deliver tailored massage therapies that promote physical recovery, reduce stress and tension. Your expertise will help clients achieve optimal wellness through personalized treatment plans, compassionate patient service, and a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on clients’ lives while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, pregnancy, and postpartum care to meet individual client needs.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including intake procedures and evaluating specific concerns
- Maintain detailed records of treatments provided using our Jane App scheduling and client intake
- Educate clients on self-care practices
- Communicate effectively with clients about their treatment plans, progress, and any necessary follow-up care or referrals.
- We do not provide medical massages - our will be for relaxation, specific tension and knots, and future aesthetic lymphatic drainage massages
- To-Go care packages post treatment will be provided at the front desk, along with a self serving tea and coffee bar in the waiting room for clients
- Starting pay is $25 with all tips and commissions additional to pay. Pay increase is based on performance and business growth but can go up to $40/h for long term employment.
- Part-time position to start - very flexible hours.
Experience
- Proven experience as a reputable Massage Therapist
- Familiarity with many different massage techniques for different needs
- Cupping experience (preferred not required)
- Experience providing patient service in diverse settings
- Lymphatic drainage massage experience (preffered not required)
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients of all ages and backgrounds while delivering compassionate patient care
- Kind and calming for all clients
