Creative Development Academy in Saint Louis, MO is looking for childcare workers (Developers) to join our team. We currently have openings for day and evening shifts. The hourly rate of pay is based on experience. Our ideal candidates are self-driven, punctual, reliable and a compassion for children.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Supervise and monitor children's indoor and outdoor activities
- Keep records of children's progress, routines and interests and relaying necessary information to parents
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment
- Assist the Lead Assistant Developer with activities in accordance with curriculum objectives
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment and facilities
- Assist with meeting the emotional, social, physical and cognitive needs of each child
- Take phone messages when other team members are unavailable
- Assist with preparing breakfast, lunch, or snack meals for children as needed according to menu schedule
Qualifications
- Proven experience in this field is a plus
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift, bend and stand
- Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and pass background screening
- High School Diploma or GED
- MUST have a positive attitude, be warm and friendly, and have the ability to entertain small children
