JNP Transport, LLC operating since 2001, is seeking port experienced company drivers to deliver containers from Port Houston to destinations in TX, LA, OK, and AR. We are searching for energetic and dependable Container Drivers to join our dynamic team, specializing in local and regional routes. As a key player in our logistics operation, you will be responsible for safely transporting containers across various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tractor trailer and secure chassis & containers
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Manage documentation related to freight movement, including delivery logs, load manifests, and incident reports.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and safe vehicle environment, reporting any maintenance needs or safety concerns immediately.

Qualifications
✓ 2 years of Experience with CDL class A
✓ 6 months container experience (preferred)
✓ TWIC (preferred)
✓ No more than 2 accidents in the last 3 years
✓ 23 years of age
✓ Clean Clearinghouse
✓ Medical Card
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle type being operated.
- Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight handling.
- Familiarity with container from the port of Houston is preferred
- Knowledge of various chassis types
- Strong understanding of route driving principles and safety regulations governing commercial transportation.
Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per week
