Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain various equipment and facilities. This role is essential in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to a safe and functional environment.
Requirements: Must be able to pass a preemployment urinalysis, and random urinalysis throughout employment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in a casino/restaurant/hotel operation.
- Fabricate parts and components as needed to support maintenance activities.
- Conduct painting tasks as required to maintain property aesthetics.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform preventative maintenance on various systems.
- Demonstrate leadership skills by guiding new employees, once you've been trained, during maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs conducted.
- Snow removal during the winter months.
Experience
- Proven experience in maintenance roles, carpentry, drywall, basic electrical, heating and cooling preventative maintenance, basic plumbing, tile repair, are preferable.
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles.
- Ability to read, understand, and work from schematics and technical drawings, is preferred but can be taught on the job.
- Proficiency in English for effective communication within the team.
- Previous experience in a maintenance team is a plus.
