Parts Runner – HEP Heating Electrical, Plumbing & Roofing
Position Overview
The Parts Runner at HEP Heating & Plumbing plays a critical support role in ensuring our technicians have the materials and equipment they need to deliver exceptional service to our customers. This position is responsible for sourcing, organizing, and delivering parts efficiently to job sites, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting warehouse operations.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced service environment where timeliness and communication directly impact customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver plumbing and HVAC parts to technicians at job sites in a timely manner
- Coordinate with dispatch, warehouse staff, and technicians to prioritize urgent material needs
- Assist with inventory management, stocking, and organization of warehouse materials
- Verify accuracy of parts orders and maintain proper documentation
- Return unused materials to inventory and ensure proper tracking
- Maintain company vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and safe operation
- Support general warehouse and shop duties as needed
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50+ lbs)
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and/or HVAC parts preferred
- Clear communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
