Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging, play-based lesson plans that foster children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Actively participate in children's play, including messy and outdoor activities.
- Observe and assess children's progress, adapting activities to meet individual needs.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Childcare education or related coursework (preferred).
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Food Handler's Card (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Demonstrated love for working with children.
- Creativity and a playful approach to learning.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
