Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in performing laboratory tests and analyses to support patient diagnosis and treatment. The Medical Laboratory Technician will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely results.
Duties
- Conduct laboratory tests.
- Prepare samples for analysis and perform data management tasks to ensure the integrity of test results.
- Utilize clinical trial methodologies to support research laboratory initiatives.
- Analyze data effectively, providing insights that assist in patient care decisions.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety standards.
- Document results accurately and communicate findings with healthcare providers in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members on various projects related to clinical trials and research studies.
- Stay updated on advancements in laboratory techniques and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and laboratory procedures is essential.
- Experience with data analysis skills, particularly in a clinical setting.
- Proficiency in flow cytometry is desirable but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
