Structural Welders Needed – Dalton, GA – $40/hr + $178 Daily Per Diem
A leading heavy lift and rigging project at a data center in Dalton, GA is now hiring experienced Structural Welders for a long-term industrial project. This is a high-hours opportunity working on heavy-duty metal structures, crane components, lifting gear, fabrication, repairs, and industrial maintenance in a fast-paced field environment.
Pay & Schedule
- $40.00/hour
- 72 hours per week available
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- $178/day Per Diem
- Per diem paid 7 days/week
- Start Date: 06/22/2026
Job Duties
- Structural steel welding
- Pipe welding and fabrication
- Industrial maintenance and repairs
- Equipment installation
- MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
- Field/mobile welding support
- Fabrication of metal components and assemblies
- Repair and maintenance of heavy-duty rigging and lifting equipment
- Reading blueprints and layout measurements
- Working in hot industrial environments
- Background & drug screening required
Requirements
- AWS D1.1 SMAW (Stick) 3G/4G Plate Test Certification Required
- Previous structural or industrial welding experience required
- Experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
- Ability to work overtime and extended shifts
- Must be comfortable working outdoors and in hot conditions
- Reliable transportation and ability to report on time daily
