Python Coding Instructor - Full-Time, Weekdays, NYC
We are a private training school specializing in coding and web development education for adult students looking to change careers and grow their skills. We are looking for an experienced Python instructor to lead in-person classes at our Midtown NYC facility. Classes are held on weekdays (10 AM – 5 PM).
Responsibilities
- Teach engaging, hands-on Python lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Develop and execute lesson plans covering Python and its essential libraries.
- Leverage teaching experience to simplify complex concepts and facilitate interactive learning.
- Create an inclusive and collaborative classroom environment that promotes learning.
- Evaluate student progress and offer constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and continuously refine course materials.
- Support students of all skill levels by providing clear guidance and encouragement.
You should be highly experienced in all of the following, as well as have the ability to teach them to new programmers:
- Python
- Pandas
- NumPy
- Matplotlib
- Scitkit-learn
- Beautiful Soup
- Plotly
- Dash
- Flask
Good to have, but not required:
You should also:
- Have experience teaching diverse groups in a classroom setting
- Be available to teach weekdays 10AM – 5PM at our midtown NYC facility
- Be proficient in Zoom
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
