Job Summary
The Warehouse Inventory Operator supports CES Power’s live event, broadcast, and industrial projects by ensuring accurate tracking, handling, and readiness of power generation, distribution, and temperature control equipment. This role is critical to maintaining inventory accuracy, enabling fast mobilization, and ensuring equipment is event ready, compliant, and safely stored.
Primary Job Role
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming equipment and materials (generators, cable, distro, HVAC, accessories) against shipping documents and work orders
Accurately record inventory movements in the warehouse management or asset tracking system (FLEX)
Stage, kit, and prepare equipment packages to support concerts, festivals, sporting events, film/broadcast, and industrial projects
Perform cycle counts and support full physical inventories to ensure asset accuracy and availability
Identify, research, and help resolve inventory discrepancies, missing assets, or damaged equipment
Label, tag, and organize assets according to CES Power standards and project requirements
Coordinate closely with operations, logistics, and engineering teams to meet tight event timelines
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely (certification required)
Assist with “load in” and “load out” and return processing from events, including condition checks and restocking
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety focused warehouse environment

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience preferred
Ability to accurately track equipment and documentation in a fast paced environment
Basic computer skills; experience with inventory or asset tracking systems preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods
Strong attention to detail, organization, and accountability
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with event production equipment, power distribution, electrical, or HVAC inventory
Forklift or material handling equipment certification
Understanding of barcode scanning, asset tagging, or serialized equipment tracking
Experience supporting time sensitive or project based operations
Working Environment
Warehouse environment supporting large scale events and industrial projects
Exposure to equipment, vehicles, noise, and varying temperatures
Overtime, early mornings, nights, or weekends may be required based on event schedules
