HOURS~
- Work 35 hours but get paid for 40
- Schedule - Friday (7:00am-6:30pm) Saturday & Sunday (6:00am-6:30pm)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES~
Machine Setup & Operation
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal components
- Select proper tooling, dies, and machine settings based on material type and thickness
- Adjust machine parameters to ensure accuracy and efficiency in production
- Monitor machine performance and make real-time adjustments as needed
Blueprint & Technical Interpretation
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Understand bend allowances, tolerances, and material specifications
- Ensure all parts are produced according to design requirements
Quality & Precision
- Measure and inspect parts using calipers, gauges, and other precision tools
- Verify finished components meet quality standards and specifications
- Identify defects and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality
Production & Workflow Management
- Manage workload to meet production schedules and deadlines
- Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with changing demands
- Support continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency and reduce waste
Equipment Maintenance
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press brake equipment
- Ensure tooling and machinery are in safe and optimal working condition
- Report any mechanical issues or needed repairs promptly
Safety & Workplace Organization
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Work safely around heavy machinery, sharp materials, and industrial equipment
QUALIFICATIONS~
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of press brake operation experience preferred
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and bending techniques
- Experience with CNC press brakes is a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
