Role Description
Note: You must live in the Denver, CO/ Boulder, CO or Phoenix, AZ area to be considered.
This is a full-time, hybrid (remote with some onsite event time) contract role for a Sponsorship Coordinator to support Brilliant Workplaces client engagement. The Coordinator will execute sponsorship and marketing opportunities across live, hybrid, and digital events — coordinating sponsor branding, activations, and deliverables while serving as the primary point of contact for assigned sponsors. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to deliver every sponsorship commitment accurately and on time and to drive sponsor satisfaction and retention. This role has the potential to become permanent.
Responsibilities
- Execute sponsorship and marketing opportunities across live, hybrid, and digital events
- Coordinate sponsor branding, signage, graphics, conference integrations, speaking opportunities, and experiential activations
- Manage sponsorship timelines, deliverables, and budgets
- Serve as the central coordinator between Sales, Operations, Marketing, Conference, Technology, and external vendors
- Ensure contractual sponsorship obligations are delivered accurately and on time
- Track multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned sponsors — managing expectations, answering questions, and resolving issues
- Drive sponsor retention and future sponsorship sales through exceptional service
- Coordinate sponsor activations onsite, working with vendors and show partners to ensure smooth execution
- Troubleshoot issues onsite while maintaining a professional experience for sponsors and attendees
- Communicate sponsorship requirements and contract obligations to internal stakeholders
- Partner with conference teams to integrate sponsor messaging and content opportunities
- Support the development of new sponsorship products and activation ideas
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, Sustainability, or a related field
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer-facing experience and conflict-resolution skills preferred
