Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality boba tea and other specialty beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to take orders, answer questions, and provide product recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for change
Experience
- Previous barista or food service experience preferred, especially within cafés or retail environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively
- Experience in food preparation, serving, or food safety practices is highly desirable
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting using effective time management skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of the food industry standards related to food handling and safety regulations
